As venue finders, visiting different London venues, as well as venues around the UK, is an essential part of our job as a team.

By visiting venues in person, we have a direct experience of the facilities, ambiance, and overall atmosphere, allowing us to gather accurate and detailed information that cannot be fully conveyed through pictures or descriptions alone. Also, seeing venues firsthand helps us assess their suitability for various events or clients.

But, not only are we searching for the perfect venues, we are also searching to create and strengthen relationships with our venue partners and other events industry professionals.

This month we are thrilled to have visited so many wonderful places and networked with some fabulous teams, sharing industry insights, trends and, of course, seeing some memorable events spaces. Take a look below to see what the Miss London Concierge team have been up to in January 2024.

Fortnum & Mason

The Miss London Concierge team visited Fortum and Mason which was founded in London’s Piccadilly in 1707, and have still remained a top venue for exceptional service and amazing food. We got to see all the 11 unuiqe spaces that can accommodate 4-400 people. The Drawing Room which is a light airy room with hand painted silk wallpaper, this can have a capacity of up to 80 standing and 60 seated. 

The Peninsula

A great deal of consideration has been put into The Peninsular and it has been meticulously designed by Hopkins Architects, Peter Marino. The hotel features a consistent motor theme, with delightful accents scattered throughout, including a lift reminiscent of a hot air balloon that transports guests to different parts of the hotel.

The rooms are filled with natural light and offer breathtaking 360-degree views in the heart of Belgravia, conveniently located near Kensington Gardens and historic landmarks. Guests are greeted in a tranquil and sophisticated lobby where the elements of the outdoors are incorporated through the use of plants and nature-inspired wallpaper. The hotel proudly exhibits artwork from over 40 artists affiliated with The Royal Drawing School, enhancing the connection to nature.

Various dining options are available at the hotel, such as Canton Blue, a remarkable culinary experience that blends Asian and British cuisine in exquisitely designed spaces. The design elements draw inspiration from the Keying junk, a historic trade ship that facilitated connections between the two countries in the mid-19th century.


For our team day out, The Miss London Concierge team went to Clays in The City venue,  we got to experience five different clay target shooting games. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely staff at Clays and were shown how to play.

The best bit was being able to enjoy the game and not worry about queuing for the bar as drinks and food were delivered right to your shooting peg. They can offer a private room for up to 100, the main bar for up to 300, or the venue exclusive for 400 guests.

EventProfs Breakfast Roundtable with Evolve Events

This month Miss London Concierge attended the EventProfs Roundtable breakfast hosted by Evolve Events.  A wonderful morning of discussion and insights,  allowing us to stay on top of industry trends and openly discuss topics and news. Sharing information, strengthening relationships and researching the global events industry is key to staying on top of the game for our clients.

34 Bloomsbury

We were kindly invited to the newly renovated 34 Bloomsbury, the event space boasts elegance and simplicity. The white walls let the client have the freedom to create the perfect event space for their needs. The contemporary decor is consistent in all four rooms are across two floors, a garden is also offered which allows the client to host a variety of events. 

We were shown round all rooms including The Otto Room which is located on the ground floor of The Bloomsbury, it was a nice touch that we were told all four rooms are named after influential and historical women which pay honour to female historic figures. The Otto Room is offered unfurnished and it can accommodate up to 20 guests standing. For larger gatherings of up to 75 guests standing, it can hired with the connecting Morrell Room. 

The Morrell Room is filled with natural daylight which overlooks the garden area. The space is open and would be perfect for social gatherings, meetings and a variety of events. The capacity for this space can accommodate standing 45 guests. it can also be combined with the Otto Room for a capacity of 75 guests. On the first floor we were shown round the Wolf Room which also has lots of daylight and a 75inch TV screen, video conferencing facilities and SONOS sound system. Lastly, the Evelyn Room is also located on the first floor which is a lounge style and a big space to host up to 45 guests standing. 

The Italian Greyhound

We were invited and welcomed by the lovely staff at The Italian Greyhound, which celebrates  Italian food and drink. The lovely staff recommended a variety of dishes which were delicious and was also matched with exceptional service. We ate in the dining room that was decorated with neutral tones and this added to the calm, friendly vibe of the restaurant. 

After our lovely meal we were shown downstairs to The Garden Room which is a bright airy space that would be perfect for private dining but also can be utilised for any event. It can host up to 100 standing and 50 seated,  and also has it’s own discreet cocktail bar which would work well for a reception. This room also has French doors that open up to the lower ground floor terrace.

Great Fosters

Treated to an overnight stay at one of our favourite hotels outside London. Impeccably placed for ease of transport from all around the world thanks to its proximity to Heathrow, this hotel is ideal for offsite and team engagement away days. We enjoyed a breath of fresh country air and took in the view of the rolling countryside as well as appreciated their light, airy bedrooms. A gem for our corporate clients!

Hakkasan Mayfair

What better place to stop in Mayfair than the atmospheric Hakkasan Mayfair? The team met with industry professionals to share ideas and get down to business at one of the most mouth-watering lunch meeting venues in London! With a private dining room for 20 guests and food to die for, we couldn’t recommend it more.

26 Leake Street

Fran attended the 26 Leake Street launch opening which was inspired by self expression. The evening included vibrant graffiti, street food, drinks and entertainment. This venue is right in the heart of London’s vibrant cultural centre, its a flexible venue with a blank canvas that can be transformed. It has multiple entrances through the famous graffiti tunnel, located right near waterloo station. This venue is ideal for up to 1200 guests, although it can easily be adapted for smaller numbers.


The Miss London Concierge team were invited for a site visit to L’Oscar located in Holborn. The venue has beautiful private dining and event spaces, each room has many original features and has a romantic theme of wings and feathers designed by Jacques Garcia. The largest event space is The Baptist which can accommodate up to 150 guests which is ideal for dinners and cocktail receptions. 

Mamma Shelter

We hosted a great MLC event at Mamma Shelter located in Shoreditch with some of our lovely clients, this was hosted in the garden bar which had a après ski theme with snow machines and cheese fondue. Next to the garden bar is The restaurant and bar area which can host up to 300 people. There was lots of great cocktails and food being offered while guests were mingling. We finished off with some karaoke with our clients in the downstairs karaoke rooms which can host up to 15 people in each room. 

Homewood House Spa and Hotel

Homewood House Spa and Hotel hosted a fam trip which Miss London were kindly invited to. This incredible hotel was situated in the lush countryside of Bath, it had beautiful views overlooking the spa and gardens, which is a perfect venue for some peace and tranquility. The hotel offers spaces for meetings, private dinners and different styles of rooms that guests can stay in.  We were hosted by the lovely Gemma and Simon which included a dinner which included local Somerset produce hosted in the chandelier room which can host up to 40 guests. 

Micebook Expo

Emily and Fran attended Micebook Expo which was located at Convene 22 Bishopsgate, this was a great experience to meet  the best UK and international suppliers. It was beneficial to network with various companies where we could get more knowledge about the hotels and venues.
