March turned the dial all the way up for the Miss London Concierge venue finding team, and we’ve been on the move nonstop. Think back-to-back site visits across London, followed by a dose of sunshine while discovering standout spaces in Spain.
It’s been a month packed with buzzing agency events, inspiring showcases, and a standout moment at the London Christmas Party Awards, celebrating the very best in the industry. In between, we’ve been catching up with our network, uncovering incredible new venues, and strengthening those all-important relationships with both venues and clients.
From sky-high city rooftops to unique international venues, March has been all about staying inspired, connected, and ahead of the curve while continuing to deliver our free venue finding service every step of the way.
MLC Connects Event: House of Gods Showcase
One of our top highlights was bringing our Miss London Concierge Corporate Network together for an unforgettable showcase at House of Gods Canary Wharf.
The evening kicked off with bubbles (of course), before guests stepped into the world of House of Gods, exploring its bold, beautifully designed bedrooms, each paired with its own curated cocktail moment. It was immersive, playful and completely different to your typical venue showcase. The energy lifted as we headed up to the bar, where a DJ, flowing drinks, delicious canapés and buzzing conversation set the tone for the rest of the night, all with those incredible city views as the backdrop.
It’s safe to say the venue made an impact for us, as venue finding experts, but also for our clients. From the interiors to the atmosphere, it was a real “wow” moment for our guests and exactly the kind of experience MLC Connects is all about.
Vicky’s Venue Visits & Insights
As part of our continued international growth, March saw our European Venue Sourcing Specialist, Vicky, spending time in Barcelona exploring a range of exceptional venues and strengthening our presence across Spain.
Vicky visited a number of standout properties, including Azul Rooftop Barcelona, Torre Melina Barcelona and Claris Hotel Barcelona, each offering something unique for our clients. From elevated rooftop spaces with panoramic city and sea views, to tranquil garden settings and design-led hotels rich in culture and character, the variety of venues truly showcases the depth of what Barcelona has to offer for corporate events.
These visits are a key part of how we continue to build and refine our international venue finding portfolio, ensuring we can offer our clients not only the very best in London and the UK, but also access to exceptional, carefully curated venues across Europe.
Corporate Event at Aethos Shoreditch
As part of our agency and corporate networking calendar, Emily joined a fantastic evening at Aethos Shoreditch, celebrating the hotel and its newly refurbished space in the heart of Shoreditch.
Hosted by Aethos in partnership with 8th Floor, the event took place in the stunning penthouse, complete with a terrace and DJ, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and social evening. Guests enjoyed drinks, canapés and great conversation, while connecting with fellow agencies, corporate bookers, and the wider Aethos team who joined from their hotels across the globe.
It was a brilliant opportunity to experience the refreshed venue firsthand, meet the team behind the brand, and discover more about Aethos’ growing international portfolio. We can’t wait to work with the Aethos team and introduce this stunning venue to our corporate network.
Inside Our Taj Hotel Site Visit
We stepped inside The Taj St James’ Court in London this month for a behind-the-scenes look at the hotel and a first glimpse at its exciting upcoming renovation.
The vision is seriously impressive, with plans to elevate the space with a fresh, luxury-led feel while still keeping its timeless charm. It’s set to be a beautiful transformation and one that will definitely put the hotel firmly on the radar. We also had the chance to explore the private suites, which instantly stood out as perfect for smaller conferences, meetings, and creative brand activations. Intimate, versatile, and a little bit different, these spaces offer something really special for clients looking to host in a more unique setting.
Vicky’s Educational Trip to London
Vicky had an amazing educational trip to London, getting the chance to meet a bunch of international venues all in one place. She stayed at the gorgeous ME London Hotel and kicked things off with a rooftop cocktail, taking in the incredible skyline views.
The highlight of the top was a unique evening on the River Thames, where guests were greeted with bubbles and the relaxed sounds of a Spanish guitar. General Managers from hotels across Spain and Italy were there, each hosting their own table and showing off their properties. It was the perfect way to wander between tables, meet new people, and get a real feel for the wider Melia portfolio.
The night finished with a seated dinner, live music, and a stunning sunset over the Thames. An unforgettable way to connect, learn, and enjoy London all at once.
Celebrating The London Christmas Party Awards
The London Christmas Party Awards brought together the very best of the events industry for an afternoon of celebration, connection, and well-deserved recognition. Hosted at ODEON Leicester Square, the event was brilliantly delivered by Eureka Events and Matt Keen, creating a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.
It was a proud moment for the Miss London Concierge team to be part of it, with Emily joining the judging panel and presenting an award on the day. With such high demand placed on venues during the festive season, it’s so important to recognise those who consistently deliver exceptional experiences, and this event did exactly that. A brilliant celebration of the industry, rounded off in style with an after party at Albert Schloss!
Sam Visit’s Torrent Hotel & Spa Spain
As part of a recent brief, one of our corporate clients are looking to move away from a city setting and create a more remote, immersive executive offsite. As part of this project Sam, head of our venue finding team, explored Mas Torrent Hotel & Spa in the beautiful Catalonian countryside.
With just 39 suites, each designed like a private residence, the venue offers an exclusive, intimate feel, perfect for senior teams. From wellness experiences and outdoor dining to expansive grounds for activities and breakout spaces, it’s a space that allows events to flow seamlessly across a variety of settings.
We’re so excited to be working with the team at Mas Torrent Hotel & Spa and to add this incredible venue to our portfolio, a perfect fit for truly standout executive offsites.
A day out in London: Fulham Pier
Emily and Millie recently took a trip to the waterfront to visit the exciting new venue at Fulham Pier. Meeting the team on site, they enjoyed a lovely lunch at Constance Brasserie, with beautiful views of the glistening Thames in the sunshine, the perfect setting to start the visit.
After brunch, the team were taken on a full site tour of the venue, exploring the many impressive spaces Fulham Pier has to offer. From the stunning event areas to views overlooking the football pitch, as well as the elegant members’ club and rooftop bar, it was a fantastic opportunity to see just how versatile the venue is.
With such a variety of spaces and a stunning riverside setting, Fulham Pier offers endless possibilities for events – and it was a great glimpse into possibilities for our venue finding team. Whether it’s a vibrant summer gathering on the terrace or an atmospheric winter event indoors, the venue can be tailored to suit a wide range of briefs, making it an exciting addition to London’s event scene!
April, here we come!
April is already bringing a real buzz, with summer events firmly on everyone’s mind and calendars starting to fill fast. We’re seeing a big wave of enquiries for summer parties, rooftop moments and team get-togethers, all about making the most of the season and securing those standout spaces early.
This month, we’re also heading beyond London and diving deeper into the Cotswolds, exploring beautiful countryside venues as part of our growing MLC Plus offering. Think charming estates, creative retreats and those “wow” settings that completely change the feel of an event.
