This August, event though it was one of our busiest months to date for venue finding, client enquiries and bookings, The MLC team took a step back from London and our usual busy schedule of hosting events, visiting new venues and attending some fabulous launch parties, to enjoy the summer with our families and take on a slightly slower pace.
We did of course manage to squeeze in 2 x fabulous client event at The Hero and the new Traitors Live experience, but thoroughly enjoyed recharging ahead of a super busy September. Here are some of our August highlights and a look at corporate event booking trends over the month.
Behind the scenes
What an August behind the scenes, really our busiest to date in 2025. We received a very busy 50+ enquiries this month alone, with many confirming their Christmas events with us ready for the holiday season. It isn’t too early to start thinking about Christmas – in fact, many venues have those key dates (the 4th and 11th December) already booked up. But not to fret, Miss London Concierge are still providing bespoke quotes to our clients for small, medium and even large parties of over 500 guests; knowing the availability and costs for those venues that would cater, even on those key dates.
In August we also rewarded – we delivered a number of luxury vouchers to our clients who held their events with us during August. Albeit, August tends to be quieter for events than most months but that doesn’t mean we take our foot off the pedal and ensure our clients are being rewarded right after their event!
What about 2026? A handful of those who confirmed their events in August were looking ahead to next year with 25% of our August enquiries being off-sites, meetings and international travel for 2026.
Luxury is big. As we continue dealing with such a wide range of enquiries, we have certainly noticed that luxury and high-end events are top of the clients’ Wishlists. Our client have to impress – the venues they hold their events at have to generate interest and create a pull. And we are the experts! With luxury staying the preference of many clients, we are thrilled to have such a wonderful little black book of venues in London and beyond to fulfil all needs.
An exclusive lunch at Hero, Maida Vale
What a beautiful afternoon we spent at the fabulous Hero in Maida Vale. We invited 12 key clients to enjoy an afternoon in this gorgeous venue with Autumnal hues and Soho Farmhouse-esque aesthetics. Everyone was super excited to experience this venue which many have heard of and have wanted to visit themselves… and they did not disappoint.
The food was simply outstanding – plates of sharers including a number of sharing starters and the most wonderful fish, laid out on the table with flair. We love this style of service, allowing conversation to flow around the food, creating a focus for any event. Conversation flowed and so did the wine!
As a venue, Hero, Maida Vale, is ideal for these kinds of lunch events. Reminding us of a New York apartment, The Loft’s naturally organic ambiance is complemented by a freestanding bar island, making it an ideal private space for various special occasions. With capacities of up to 70 standing and 30 seated.
Of course the venue also has many other wonderful spaces including a private dining room for 12 guests and we can recommend this to our clients with the absolute certainty themselves and their guests would be 100% looked after.
An evening to discover Traitors Live Experience
What an evening to experience a brand new concept! The Traitors Live Experience has been on our radar for a while now and we were very excited to join the hype of its opening.
Miss London Concierge invited 12 of our clients to this MLC Connects event with our very own VIP table and a glass of Fizzy Rose, a live host, 2 hours of live gameplay and exclusivity on the table, followed by drinks and a chance to view their mezzanine events space. And of course, a congratulations goes to the victorious traitor who won on the day!
