So after an August break for many, September for Corporate events, London, started off with a bang.
One of Miss London Concierge’s busiest months to date, we ended the quarter with some pretty impressive MLC Connects events, some fabulous event bookings and even squeezed in a team get-together, bringing the remote working team under one roof for some quality time in person.
We are so grateful for each other, for our clients and for the last few months we have had here at MLC, giving us a record breaking quarter.

Wow — what a September it’s been! This past month has wrapped up the quarter to be one of our busiest yet, and we’re absolutely buzzing with the amazing briefs that have come our way.
In total, we received over 25 new enquiries and have already confirmed more than 20 events; from sparkling Christmas parties and team get-togethers before the year wraps up, to exciting offsites and hospitality experiences stretching into 2026.
The variety has been incredible. No two briefs are ever the same, and that’s exactly what makes what we do so exciting. One day we’re working on a cosy team dinner, the next it’s a big festive celebration with entertainment that will wow the crowd, and then we’re diving into plans for unforgettable hospitality experiences. Each event is unique, and we love bringing those ideas to life for our clients.
Right now, we’re in full swing getting Christmas events locked in, confirming entertainment, and making sure every detail is ready to deliver something truly special. There’s nothing quite like the build-up to the festive season, and we’re so excited to see these events come to life.
Most of all, we’re grateful to our wonderful clients for trusting us with their events. We love creating these moments with you and, as always, we make sure to give something back through our rewards, as a little thank you for letting us be part of your journey.
Somerset House Anniversary Event
Somerset House needs little introduction. Set in the heart of London, its courtyard is one of the city’s most recognisable backdrops, steeped in grandeur and history. Emily attended a milestone event celebrating the venue’s 25th anniversary, with catering by our trusted friends at Moving Venue.
Guests gathered in the courtyard despite the disruption of a tube strike, a true testament to the venue’s draw. With the weather holding out, the evening became a perfect blend of networking, entertainment, and fine dining, all set against the dramatic architecture of Somerset House, ideal for corporate events London.
It wasn’t just about celebration; it was about showcasing how Somerset House can transform into a spectacular stage for corporate parties, networking evenings, and summer receptions. With its central location, iconic setting, and versatile outdoor space, it’s no wonder so many companies choose it for their most important milestones.
Magicians Table MLC Connects Events
Emily had the absolute pleasure of hosting ten of our top clients at The Magicians Table, and it was one of the most magical evenings experienced in a long time, quite literally! have a read of what Emily had to say about the evening
“We arrived an hour before the main performance, and from the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was electric. World-class magicians moved effortlessly around the room, performing up-close sleight of hand and illusions right in front of us. Cards disappeared, coins appeared out of thin air, and jaws dropped. It was such a brilliant way to start the evening.
When the main show began, the magic truly stepped up a level. Over two hours, we were visited by at least four different magicians at our table, each with their own unique style from mind-reading to classic sleight of hand. It was up close and personal.
What really stood out to me, though, was the storytelling woven into the evening. It wasn’t just about the tricks, it was about connection, history, and passion. Combined with live music and theatre, it felt like we were part of something really special”.
From a corporate perspective, The Magicians Table is a dream venue. As I looked around the table that evening, I saw clients smiling, laughing, and genuinely connecting in a way that felt effortless. That’s what makes The Magician’s Table so special, it’s not just entertainment, it’s an experience that brings people together.
Hotel Café Royal MLC Connects Event
Emily, Lianne and Millie hosted 20 of our lovely clients at Hotel Café Royal in London, in partnership with 8th Floor, and it was a huge success. Set right on Regent Street, the hotel is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and a place that’s welcomed everyone from royalty to writers over the years, especially for corporate events London.
The evening showcased the venue’s flexibility, with different spaces for presentations, networking, and dinner. Hotel Café Royal offers eight dedicated event spaces, from intimate boardrooms for 10 people to the grand Pompadour Ballroom, which can host up to 250 guests. With 159 luxurious bedrooms and suites on-site, it’s also perfectly equipped for multi-day conferences and corporate stays.
What struck us most was the balance of history and modern functionality. The ornate décor and grand spaces delivered that immediate “wow factor,” while the central location, soundproof rooms, and state-of-the-art AV ensured the event ran seamlessly. Not to mention the stunning terrace that looked out over Piccadilly.
Feedback from clients was glowing. Many said it was one of the best showcases they’d attended, and it’s easy to see why. Café Royal’s combination of heritage and practicality makes it an outstanding choice for corporate events.
The MLC team offsite
What a few days catching up with the team!
First of all, Sam and Vicky travelled over to kick off at the Shangri-La The Shard hotel. This quarter, we have confirmed three wonderful events at this venue and the sales teams invited us to experience the food and beverages first hand with a lunch meeting. After a walk around their spaces (and staring at the views for a while!) we sat down in their Ting restaurant to be wowed with their service and hospitality. Following (and during!) the catch up, we also saw the fabulous Chris Middleton from Inception Group who is a credit to the Mr Foggs / Cahoots venues in London. He talked us through the exciting new venue in his portfolio: Bunga 90. We can’t stop raving about this one! A completely new concept that sees 90s nostalgia taken to the next level. Then the team enjoyed a warm welcome and tour of the Mitre Hotel in Hampton Court. This has been a popular choice for our clients’ offsites within an easy reach of London and activities right on its doorstep. The hotel is part of the Signet collection with the invitation extending from our partners at Avenue Sales. It is a very special place, filled with history at every turn. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the dinner was delightful, sat looking out over the Thames. We strongly suggest their Sea Bass which was a real hit as we discussed the Signet properties, our wonderful clients and which events would really work well at this venue.
The next morning, the team met together at De Vere Horsley, again, another fabulous venue for offsites. So much so, we decided to get together ourselves at this countryside location. Perfectly distanced from London, the hotel is expansive with stunning architecture and history. We took a tour of the venue, taking in the many different events spaces, many of which can be hired together to created smaller exclusive meeting spaces to feel like you have your own little venue exclusively.
We spent the morning reconnecting, catching up and taking photos with Emma Gosling Photography, our preferred photographer partner who captured beautiful moments together. we also ensured we used the opportunity to grab photos of us all together and discuss what plans are coming up in the new year, ready to start in 2026 with a bang.
In the afternoon, we set off for a gin tour and tasting at Silent Pool, just a five minute drive from De Vere Horsley. We discovered the meaning behind the name, the way the gin is made and the different types of gin as well as what makes Silent Pool unique: their addition of the botanicals before distilling. Then we got to try them all, noting the difference of the flavour of the gin with different types of tonic.
From there, we were invited to enjoy Chai and samosas just next door at Mandira’s Kitchen where they also offer wonderful cooking classes. We could just imagine a corporate group enjoying these experiences together or in separate groups.
We then headed back to the hotel to get ready for a wonderful team dinner together with excellent food and wine (with perhaps a late night cap at the bar on the way back to the rooms!)
Our second day was special, rising and starting with a hearty breakfast and a team meeting where we talked over a few important stats and company updates! Emily also squeezed in an exciting podcast interview with Kate from De Vere Horsley, being the bridge between clients and venues is our speciality!
We finished off the trip with a wonderful foraging walk, given by Elspeth at Joyful Outdoors. A wonderful fresh way to finish in the afternoon sunshine!

Donnington & Co MLC Connects Events
Emily then travelled to Newbury for a client FAM trip at the refurbished Donnington Valley Hotel & Spa. Just an hour from London Paddington, the venue offers convenience as well as character.
Welcoming five key clients, the trip was designed to showcase the property’s corporate potential. Guests enjoyed a private tour of the hotel, complete with its extensive meeting spaces and comfortable guest rooms, followed by a unique ‘Sip & Paint‘ experience at the beautiful Post Barn. This contemporary events space, located just five minutes away by golf buggy is perfect for off-sites, dinners, and creative workshops.
Of course, the experience wasn’t all business… there was wine, laughter, and even the chance to meet Hendrix, the property’s much-loved resident dog. After settling into their rooms, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, further highlighting the venue’s capability to host memorable corporate gatherings.
The following day concluded with relaxation at the spa facilities, giving attendees a taste of the leisure side that makes Donnington Valley ideal for overnight conferences, team-building retreats, and incentive trips.
