The MLC team has wrapped up another exciting month and helped our clients book some unforgettable events.
We’re more than just venue finders; we’re a dedicated team committed to going above and beyond for our clients. We take pride in building strong relationships with venues and suppliers, while continually connecting with inspiring event professionals and exploring exceptional event spaces.
This month saw the team on the move, from an inspiring visit to Bristol and a delightful lunch with the Conduit, to an insightful podcast recording with Fairgame and an exclusive client FAM trip at the stunning Cowdray House.

Behind the scenes
October has flown by in a whirlwind of festive planning, creative ideas, and a good number of Autumn corporate events. We’ve been busy confirming even more Christmas parties for 2025, and have also started working on our clients 2026 Christmas event briefs. Bravo to those very organised clients!
This October, Offsites have also been a key area of attention for our team. We’ve supported clients with inspiring getaways both across the UK and further afield. We have explored sunny Portugal, vibrant Seville, and charming Amsterdam for incentive trips, networking events, and C-suite meetings. Every project has been different, and we love seeing how each destination brings its own magic to an event.
We’ve also loved booking some special experiences. From exclusive evenings at The Magician’s Table to elegant journeys on the British Pullman and sophisticated wine tastings at Gusbourne, we’ve loved curating unforgettable moments that wow our clients and their guests.
As we look ahead to the new year, our team is already deep in planning mode for a host of exciting kick-offs, team meetings, and large hybrid events. We can’t wait to see these ideas come to life and to continue helping our clients start the year with energy and inspiration.
And for anyone still on the hunt for a fabulous festive celebration, there’s still time! We’re still securing those last minute Christmas bookings and know exactly where to find the best venues and availability across London and the UK. So if you’re planning something special, get in touch and share your brief. We’d love to help you create a truly unforgettable event.
Bristol with Avenue Sales & Marketing
Day One: Arrival and First Impressions
As venue finders we are always on the lookout for engaging destinations for corporate events. Sam’s recent trip to Bristol was a perfect blend of business and pleasure. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Bruno from Avenue Sales and Marketing and Jane from the Bristol Hotel. With champagne in hand, we mingled with fellow agents and got to know each other whilst taking in the piano music and relaxing charm of this well-located hotel.
First on the agenda was to view The Bristol Hotel’s meeting and event spaces. The Ballroom, accommodating up to 400 guests, was a great open space to be used for a number of different and engaging corporate events with the events spaces boasting their own entrance and smaller breakouts as well as a bright foyer. The spaces really showcased Bristol’s versatility for corporate events. The hotel’s charm made it clear why it’s a fantastic choice for corporate events. And, of course, we love the Doyle Collection vibe: the smell and the decor is right on point. The evening was rounded off with an exquisite à la carte dinner, filled with delightful food, wine, and engaging conversations.

Day Two: Discovering Bristol’s Waterfront and History
Day two started bright and early with a charming boat trip along Bristol’s waterways.. The adventure continued at the SS Great Britain, where we immersed themselves in maritime history. The fun dressing-up box added a playful twist, and there were, of course, some memorable photos in Victorian costumes(!).

After the tour, we returned to the Bristol Hotel for a buffet lunch, keeping the conversations flowing about industry trends and future possibilities. The day ended on a high note, and we wrapped up the trip with insightful discussions about the corporate events landscape.

To top it all off, Sam stayed an extra night to soak in more of Bristol’s charm, enjoying a final full English breakfast before heading home.
Visit to The Conduit
Emily and Lianne had a wonderful time visiting The Conduit, a unique venue nestled in the heart of Covent Garden . A great opportunity to catch up with the new events team and explore this vibrant, multi-level space, the Conduit’s ‘house party’ feel across multiple floors offers a unique and welcoming atmosphere ideal for networking events, private dinners, and impactful corporate gatherings.
Over lunch, the team discussed exciting plans for 2026 and ways to reconnect with the wider events community. A private tour followed, showcasing the venue’s versatile corporate events spaces, inspiring design, and commitment to social and environmental impact.
The largest room, The Forum, can take up to 200 guests and we love the flexibility of the space, meaning it’s ideal for a range of different types of events. We also loved the Pergola, a brilliant rooftop which was the venue of choice for some of our key clients 2025 Summer parties.
We’re thrilled to share that MLC Connects will be hosting an event at The Conduit in 2026… so watch this space for more details!
A huge thank you to The Conduit team for such a warm welcome and for taking the time to show us around. Our London partners are just as important as our destination venues, and we love discovering inspiring spaces right here in the city.

Thought-provoking podcast recording with Lola at Fairgame
From a cosy podcast studio in Waterloo, our Director Emily met with the lovely Lola from Fairgame: a vibrant and fun activity concept with venues in Canary Wharf and the City of London, to discuss the interesting topic of AI and its use on Linkedin.

Client FAM trip to the magnificent Cowdray House
To round off the month, we were thrilled to host an exclusive FAM trip to the stunning Cowdray Estate in Midhurst, a truly remarkable countryside haven that perfectly blends luxury, charm, and tranquility.
Our experience began with a warm welcome and a seamless transfer from the station to the estate. Cowdray House is am exclusive-use venue nestled amid the rolling hills of the Sussex countryside. A glass of champagne on arrival set the tone for an indulgent and inspiring day.
Guests gathered in the elegant drawing room for relaxed networking, followed by an insightful presentation on the estate’s rich heritage and impressive corporate event offerings. With its versatile and beautifully designed spaces, Cowdray House provides an exceptional backdrop for corporate retreats, strategy sessions, private celebrations, and wellness escapes, effortlessly catering to both intimate gatherings and large-scale occasions.

Their Buck Hall is a must-see for corporate events bookers. With a capacity of 140 guests in theatre, it is grand and breathtaking. The venue features a wide range of different spaces from smaller boardrooms to gala dinner venues in their castle rooms.
Following the presentation, we explored the house and its impressive features from the grand dining room and luxurious bedrooms to the serene indoor pool and cosy lounges. A bespoke lunch was served in the dining room, beautifully prepared using local, seasonal ingredients a real highlight of the day.

Following lunch, we stepped outside in the crisp autumn air for lively archery session, a fun and memorable team-building activity set against the breathtaking backdrop of the South Downs. It was the perfect way to experience the beauty and spirit of Cowdray.
The estate offers an abundance of activities designed to inspire and energise corporate groups. For those seeking outdoor adventure, there’s golf on Cowdray’s 18-hole Championship course, clay pigeon shooting, gundog training, fly-fishing, and guided wildlife tours. Indoors, guests can indulge in creative pursuits such as gin tasting, chocolate making, calligraphy, or flower arranging. And for a touch of leisure, there’s the serene indoor pool, a refreshing outdoor pool, or a friendly game of croquet on the lawn. The full-size billiards table and ten-pin bowling alley add even more opportunities for entertainment and team bonding.

Afterwards, guests enjoyed a relaxing afternoon tea, with some taking a tranquil swim or wandering the picturesque grounds in the late afternoon light.
Our day concluded and guests left feeling refreshed, inspired, and full of ideas. We loved hearing how much our clients enjoyed the experience, a wonderful reminder of how valuable offsites and wellness-focused retreats can be.
A heartfelt thank you to the exceptional team at Cowdray for their warm hospitality and for showcasing such an extraordinary venue. With golden autumn sunshine, stunning scenery, and thoughtful touches throughout, it truly was a day to remember.
