I recently had the privilege of attending such an event: a 40th anniversary celebration of London Catering company Moving Venue, and it was truly a night to remember.
Stepping into the Natural History Museum at night was like entering another world. The grand entrance, usually bustling with families and tourists, was transformed into an elegant reception area, complete with mood lighting and a striking centrepiece.

From the vibrant starter to the decadent dessert, every bite was an experience and we can clearly see why Moving Venue are one of the best London catering companies out there. As we enjoyed our meal, it was surreal to be surrounded by the incredible exhibits that make the museum so unique.
But the evening wasn’t just about good food and a stunning venue—it was about a celebration that was interactive and immersive. Throughout the night, we were treated to an array of entertainment. A live performance from the cast of Chicago, intimate speeches and a live band performed, getting everyone on their feet!
One of the evening’s most touching moments came when the team themselves at Moving Venue gave a short speech, reflecting on the catering company’s journey over the past 40 years. It was heartfelt, funny, and served as a reminder that a truly great party isn’t just about the setting—it’s about the people you’re sharing it with.
As the evening ended, it was hard not to feel completely awed by the experience. Celebrating a 40th anniversary is a special occasion but doing it in such a unique and iconic venue as the Natural History Museum made it unforgettable. From the incredible setting and delicious food to the engaging entertainment and thoughtful details, Moving Venue ensured that every element of the night was perfectly orchestrated.

Walking out of the museum and into the quiet London night, I couldn’t help but feel like I had been part of something extraordinary.
