We had the pleasure of being invited to the Agents Wellness Retreat at Down Hall Estate & Spa, and it completely changed our perspective on what a corporate event can look like. After afternoon tea and networking, we explored the beautiful estate before taking part in a vision board workshop, breathwork session and sunrise yoga, all hosted by Down Hall’s expert in-house Wellness Director. The estate is stunning in the summer and feels like a countryside escape and is one of those venues that shine in the sunshine!

Another highlight was dinner in the Kitchen Garden, where we enjoyed seasonal produce grown on site (even the cocktails featured ingredients from the garden!), before winding down with a relaxing sound bath. We left feeling refreshed, inspired and convinced that wellness retreats like this are the perfect way to bring teams together.

We headed to Barnett Hill Hotel for a site visit and couldn’t believe it’s less than an hour from London—it really does feel like a world away. Hidden away in the Surrey Hills, it’s the perfect countryside escape for team retreats, meetings and exclusive events.

Our visit started with a gin tasting at the nearby Silent Pool Distillery, an experience that can also be brought to the hotel for guests looking to add something a little different to their event.

We rounded off the day with a crisp glass of wine, a phenomenal Caesar salad and, of course, French fries… because balance! With its peaceful setting, award-winning dining and relaxed luxury feel, Barnett Hill is definitely one to add to your venues shortlist.

We also had the pleasure of hosting 10 of our top clients for an exclusive VIP lunch in partnership with our friends at ME London. Set against the stunning backdrop of the London skyline at Radio Rooftop this has one of the best views of all venues in London , we spent the afternoon enjoying flowing rosé (it would have been rude not to!), a delicious Pan-Asian menu and plenty of conversations about all things events, venues and what’s coming up in the industry.

The team at ME London were incredible hosts, and it was the perfect opportunity to experience everything the venue has to offer. From intimate client lunches to exclusive celebrations and larger corporate events, we were blown away by the endless possibilities this iconic rooftop space has to offer.

This month’s MLC Connects saw us bring together our corporate booker network at the incredible Fulham Pier for an evening of networking, venue inspiration and some seriously good views.

We kicked things off in Brasserie Constance with Prosecco, margaritas (including our favourite spicy marg, of course!) as the sun glistened over the Thames there couldn’t have been a better setting for catching up with familiar faces and making new connections on this beautiful and warm summer’s evening.

Guests then enjoyed a full tour of the venue, taking in the impressive event spaces and exclusive views overlooking Fulham FC , we definitley loved the air conditioning!

We rounded off the evening in the Members’ Bar, where everyone chose their favourite cocktail from an open bar while networking against the backdrop of one of the best views of the London skyline and the Thames.

Safe to say, Fulham Pier has firmly earned a spot on our favourite summer venues list.
