With so many fabulously busy moving parts, the team at Miss London Concierge rarely get the opportunity to spend quality time together (aside from the many phone calls and slack channels of course!)
In January, we were reunited once again and we accomplished a number of feats – not least starting with an incredible team photo shoot!

Now, of course, we wouldn’t want to give too much away… but we can tell you that Emma Gosling Photography was an absolute blast to work with. Emma immediately got into ‘MLC’ mode, knowing who we were and what we wanted to accomplish within minutes of spending time with us. It felt like a true celebration to be together and everything was so free and breezy!
We began the photoshoot day at one of the most picturesque venues in London – Woods Quay.

The backdrop for corporate events here is second to none: quite literally, ON the river. Not only that but the interiors are classy, luxurious and modern which, for us, created stunning backdrops for the shoot. The team were so delightful, too, and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you so much to the Woods Quay teams for making our photoshoot incredibly enjoyable and for allowing us to feel so warm and welcome in the spaces.

Exclusive hire of the full venue can accommodate up to 250 guests for a standing reception, spread across the Cormorant Deck, East and West Wings, and the 160 meters of private moorings.
The Michelin-standard tasting room hosts up to 56 guests, with an open kitchen, where guests can watch the chefs at work.
We were situated in the West Wing. There is also the East Wing and the cormorant deck in-between, as well as the floating deck. Of course, this leads to their fabulous Silver Fleet.

The Silver Fleet comprises of three river yachts, the Silver Sturgeon, Silver Barracuda, and Silver Darling.
They opened a new vessel in 2024 called The Driftwoods which has a capacity of up to 265 guests. Think of this vessel as the cooler, younger sister of the other boats.

If you are thinking of pure luxury for your corporate event, Woods Quay and the Silver Fleet will take you to that next step whilst offering London’s most incredible views.
From there, we made a few necessary photos along the banks of the river and grabbed a few black cabs and red buses in the background for those out and about shots, then made our way to Radio Rooftop which, after their incredible renovation left us wide eyes (and mouthed!) at the stunning decor and layout of this rooftop venue.

Thank you to the teams at ME Melia for being so incredibly accommodating to the Miss London Concierge team as we took in the views from the gorgeous rooftop, took a few snaps, discovered the space – oh, and, had a glass of bubbly!

Lunch time!
Well, when it came down to choosing where we would host our fabulous (and belated) Christmas party which followed our photoshoot, we immediately went for the exceptional Jeru in Mayfair. A favourite haunt of the Miss London Concierge team.
The restaurant has a discreet entrance but big impact inside. We were situated in the main restaurant, being treated to the most exceptional service and food. The bread, the fish, the meat, the cocktails – everything is just so refined and polished at this venue and we left full, satisfied and feeling like we really experienced something special.
Jeru has a range of events spaces that are ideal for privatisation. The Garden room is light, bright and airy, ideal for pre-dinner drinks, take the party to Sapphire for a stand-out sit down meal and finally you have Layla, the underground space with top-notch AV for a real party.

The afters…
It wouldn’t be a Christmas party without some after-lunch/dinner (what was it!?) drinks! We jumped in a cab and made our way to Louie London. We were warmly greeted and given a table in their gorgeous Alligator Bar & Terrace which can accommodate up to 100 guests for cocktail and canapé receptions. We love the venue which is set out on a number of different floors, making the experience feel very exclusive and secret!
Each floor can be rented (and entered!) separately or combined. In total, Louie can accommodate up to 350 guests for exclusive hire, including access to a private entrance, elevator, cloakroom, semi-outdoor terrace, screening room, and four bar areas.

It was time for a much-needed soft pillow and this was found in the gorgeous Holmes Hotel in Marylebone.

The Holmes Hotel, Marylebone
The Miss London Concierge team were treated to a wonderful night’s stay at The Holmes Hotel in Marylebone. The location for this hotel is unparalleled, making it so easy for the teams to get home following our get together and meeting.
The hotel was just filled of so many trinkets and stories surrounding Sherlock Holmes and the Victorian Era, perfectly blending the modern facilities with history.
We checked in, enjoyed a relaxing night’s sleep and woke up to what felt like a quiet pocket of peace as you opened the curtains to view the hustle and bustle below.
In the morning, we delighted in a fabulous cooked breakfast and set to work in their stunning Conservatory – truly an ideal space for meetings. The boardroom was light, bright and cosy with a large screen for presentations and all the commodities with personalised service.

During our meeting, we discussed our wonderful clients’ event briefs, talked about different venues and put strategy in motion for 2025!
Following the meeting, we enjoyed a site visit of the hotel by the wonderful Johanna from PPHE and enjoyed a cocktail while we discussed the different hotels under the PPHE brand. I went for a cocktail, recommended by Johanna, which was unique and absolutely delicious.

So, this brings us to the end of out January get together 2025!
The Miss London Concierge team is a close, tight knit group of ladies with passion, drive and ideas. It is always a pleasure working together, chatting together and bonding together. Bring on the rest of 2025!
