Interview with a client: ANtonia, EAB PLC

Can you tell us a little about yourself and what you do?

I am Executive Assistant to the CEO of a large Arabic bank in Mayfair.  I look after the CEO and executive team, lots of travel, events, etc.

What made you decide to use Miss London Concierge instead of just booking a venue on your own?

I am in charge of organising the company’s social calendar for internal and external events.  I often don’t have time to research the venues as there are so many in central London and I don’t have established relationships with them all, which is where Miss London Concierge helps, along with organising the site visits and negotiating.

What are the main perks of using Miss London Concierge that you wouldn’t get from going directly to venues?

The extra running around and talking to the venue part is taken off me, which is a god send in my job!

Can you share a time when Miss London Concierge found the perfect venue for one of your events? What made it just right for you?

I gave a brief in to what I needed for my Christmas party, which I wanted to start with asap this year.  I received back 6 or 7 SPOT ON options, most which I went to see and loved them all.  All within budget, all within capacity and near my office, it was honesty a breath of fresh air to be listened to so closely on the first brief.

How has working with Miss London Concierge helped you save time or reduce stress in planning your events?

I haven’t had to spend any time researching venues or prices, it was all done for me and sorted within a couple of weeks.

Have you attended any of MLC’s showcase events? How did experiencing the venue in person before booking influence your decision?

I have and really enjoyed my evening, it was a venue that I have heard of but never got round to going and I had such a great time!  It is handy to see first-hand whether the vibe of the place would suit my company or not for booking things in the future.

Would you recommend Miss London Concierge to others looking for venues? What would you tell them?

100% and I have already! For assistants like myself and a lot of my friends, you jump at any chance to cut time spent on things that aren’t really part of our day job but need organised at the same time.  It has saved me so much time using Miss London Concierge and will absolutely be calling them up for any event that comes up in the future!
