Corporate networking events Fairgame

January marked a confident and energising start to the year for the Miss London Concierge team including some great venue visits, fam trips and corporate networking events.

The month was filled with meaningful venue visits, a standout familiarisation trip, and a series of carefully curated networking moments, all reinforcing the importance of staying close to the spaces, partners and people that shape exceptional corporate events.

Ellenborough Park FAM trip & overnight stay

Emily and Lianne began the year with an overnight familiarisation trip to Ellenborough Park, a grand country house hotel set on the edge of the Cotswolds.

The visit allowed time to properly explore the venue’s full offering: from characterful meeting rooms and elegant bedrooms to the sweeping grounds that make it such a strong option for corporate retreats, leadership off-sites and incentive stays.

The hotel offers 61 individually designed bedrooms, making it ideal for exclusive-use retreats or multi-day leadership gatherings. Its flexible meeting and event spaces can accommodate up to 120 delegates, with layouts easily adapted for board meetings, strategy sessions, breakouts and private dining.

Set within expansive Cotswolds grounds, the venue allows programmes to extend beyond the meeting room: from informal outdoor sessions and wellness activities to team-building experiences, corporate networking events and hosted dinners. Importantly, everything takes place on one site, creating a seamless flow from work to downtime without the need to travel between locations.

If you’re looking for a countryside venue that delivers both atmosphere and operational ease without compromising on service, comfort or attention to detail, Ellenborough Park is a strong choice.

We know this venue well and can advise on suitability, layouts, timings and full offsite programmes.

London site visits: experiencing venues first-hand

Nothing beats getting out from behind the screen and into the spaces themselves.

Our team recently visited The LanghamClaridge’s and Mr Porter London. There are three standout London venues we put on our must-visit list to deepen our understanding of what makes each space work so brilliantly for events.

From seeing how the rooms flow and their ambient lighting; to service style and overall atmosphere, these visits are an essential part of how we work. They allow us to assess how a venue truly performs in practice, not just on paper.

London’s event scene continues to evolve at pace, and staying close to the spaces (and the teams behind them) is key to ensuring every recommendation we make is informed, thoughtful and right for our clients.

MLC Connects at Fairgame

January also saw our first MLC Connects event of the year, hosted at Fairgame. Set within a fun, social environment, the evening brought together corporate bookers and venue partners for relaxed and engaging networking.

The event captured exactly what MLC Connects is about with our corporate networking events: building relationships through experience-led gatherings that feel natural, engaging and memorable.

Harrods MLC Connects breakfast event

Later in the month, we hosted a refined MLC Connects breakfast event at Harrods, welcoming guests into one of London’s most iconic retail destinations. The morning offered a more intimate networking format, combining exceptional hospitality with insightful conversation and genuine connection. It is a a style of event that continues to resonate strongly with our network and our clients were thrilled at the space on offer here.

Harrods offers a carefully curated range of private dining rooms and event spaces, each suited to different styles of corporate entertaining. The collection includes smaller, elegant rooms that work beautifully for leadership breakfasts, board level meetings and private client lunches, as well as larger private spaces that can host networking receptions, brand events and formal dinners for groups of up to approximately 120 guests.

The venue is particularly well suited to breakfast briefings, executive lunches, private client dinners, product launches and corporate networking events. Each event benefits from Harrods’ exceptional food offering, discreet and professional service, and an experienced events team that understands the expectations of corporate hosts and their guests.

Hosting an event within Harrods immediately elevates the experience for corporate networking events. The setting brings a sense of occasion while remaining highly polished and operationally seamless, making it a strong choice for businesses looking to create memorable corporate moments in a prestigious Central London location.

Famtastic Agents networking lunch in King’s Cross

January concluded with a Famtastic Agents networking lunch, bringing together venue suppliers and industry peers over a delicious lunch in King’s Cross.

It was a timely reminder of why agency networking lunches matter as well as corporate networking events. Face-to-face time with venue partners leads to stronger relationships, better insight and more informed recommendations for clients. From hearing about new spaces to sharing challenges and ideas, these conversations help us stay connected, collaborative and ahead of the curve.

January’s MLC Connects Event Feedback

February, here we come!

As we head into February, there’s a real sense of excitement building. We have some brilliant MLC Connects corporate networking events on the horizon, Sam will be back in the UK, and there’s plenty happening behind the scenes as we continue to spend time with venues and partners.

We’re also seeing more and more interest in international venue finding, and it’s been a joy to support clients with events beyond London while still applying the same thoughtful, detailed approach we’re known for. Whether it’s discovering new spaces, keeping close to venue updates, or refining recommendations, we’re doing what we love most… sourcing venues that truly work for our clients and their events.

If you’re starting to think about what’s coming up this year, whether in the UK or further afield, we’d love to be part of the conversation. Get in touch and let’s see where it takes us.
