And why we love it!
Earlier this month, the MLC team took a trip to Brighton to check out the meetings and events spaces at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole.
It was a lovely sunny day and after stepping off the train after a very comfortable journey, we walked to the hotel, taking in the gorgeous views and buzzing streets of Brighton.
On arrival to the hotel we checked our bags and decided to sit outside for a glass of fizz (well, we are on a FAM trip!) and look out at the most stunning view of the beach.
After being welcomed by our hosts, we took a tour of the hotel’s meetings and events spaces. These are the reasons you should be considering this hotel for your next company event….
DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole recently underwent a full refurbishment. With 321 newly refurbished modern bedrooms, 24 meeting rooms, and onsite leisure facilities, the hotel is the largest residential conferencing and event space in the South East of England. The largest conference room, the Oxford Suite, can hold 1,000 people theatre-style or 800 for a banquet.
As for Brighton itself…
Brighton is a vibrant coastal city on the southern coast of England, often referred to as “London by the sea.” Here are some of my favourite elements of Brighton which we believe you will love:

- Rich history and architecture: The Royal Pavilion, built for King George IV, is a must-see. The exotic palace with its stunning interiors and gardens offers a glimpse into the Regency era.

Brighton truly has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for relaxation, adventure, or cultural experiences.
After the site visit, we checked into our rooms at the DoubleTree By Hilton Brighton Metropole. With a sea view, balcony and spacious bed, & very thoughtful welcome gifts (champagne and cheese, yes please! ) we knew we were going to really enjoy this stay. Thoughtful touches like that go such a long way.
For dinner, the MLC team and our Double Tree Hosts then made our way to a gorgeous little fish restaurant next door to soak up the sun & sea view, and chat about ways we can help support each other. Watch this space for some exciting invitations making their way to our premium bookers very soon!
