The Power of Corporate Offsites & Away Days: Building Stronger Teams Through Shared Experiences
We all know, the importance of human connection in the workplace is so important, especially after years of disconnection, more people working remotely and less synergy in teams.
This is where corporate offsites and away days come into their own. It is just such a good idea to get away with your team and offer colleagues the space to connect, reflect, and grow. Beyond strategy sessions and presentations, these days are about nurturing trust, sparking creativity, and strengthening the fabric of a company’s culture.
Choosing the right venue is essential. The setting, atmosphere, and activities on offer can transform an ordinary offsite into a memorable, team-defining experience. So that’s why we wanted to share with you some venues which are the ‘all rounders’.
I was inspired by my recent trip to De Vere Horsley where we set out on a number of activities including a gin tour and tasting, chai and samosa workshop, a foraging walk and, of course, enjoying the food and drink offerings not only in the hotel, but locally too.
All of this together generates an overall offsite experience and that is what we love focusing on the most: suggesting venues that already have that whole package whether that be in the venue itself of locally, designed for entertaining teams and nurturing relationships.
Below are exemplary venues across the UK, each offering a unique environment and range of activities that inspire, challenge, and connect teams.
