April was a busy and exciting month for the Miss London Concierge team, filled with a brilliant mix of MLC Connects events, industry showcases, venue discoveries, and memorable team moments.
From hosting our MLC Connects events and attending the BNC Show to exploring standout venues across London and beyond, every experience reinforced the importance of staying connected to the people and places shaping the corporate events landscape.
Take a look at what we got up to in April…
MLC Connects X Brewdog Waterloo
We kicked off the month in the best way possible with our MLC Connects event at BrewDog and safe to say, it did not disappoint! Bringing together some of our key clients and industry friends, the evening was all about great games, relaxed networking, and a few very good drinks (of course) 🍻
We took over their new private darts room where everyone got stuck into some very friendly competition (and no, you definitely didn’t need to be a darts pro to get involved). From exploring the many different areas within the venue, to everyone committing to the slide (no exceptions… and no regrets 😅), it was one of those nights that just flowed effortlessly.
BrewDog set the tone perfectly with its laid-back, buzzy atmosphere, the kind of space where connections happen naturally and no one’s clock-watching. Exactly what MLC Connects is all about. A brilliant start to a very busy April… and a reminder of just how powerful getting the right people in the right room can be!
The BNC Show 🥂
Next up, we headed to the BNC Show in Westminster. It was brilliant day spent exploring new venues while also reconnecting with some of our wonderful venue partners. It was great to see the exciting projects and refurbishments many of our partners have been working on, giving us plenty of fresh inspiration for upcoming events.
We also bumped into some of our key clients throughout the day, which is always such a highlight and of course, a few of us headed out for drinks post-event, which was just as lovely. It’s moments like these that remind us how much we value the relationships we have built with our clients, both in and out of the event space 🤍
The Cool Venue Awards with Fulham Pier
We were delighted to be invited to the Cool Venue Awards this month, with Emily joining as a guest of our friends at Fulham Pier. It was such a lovely evening celebrating the very best of the industry, surrounded by brilliant venues and plenty of familiar faces.
A huge thank you to the team at Fulham Pier for inviting us and an even bigger congratulations on your well-deserved win! We absolutely love working with this team and couldn’t be happier to see them recognised 🥂

Sam Took a Trip to the Shangri-La Paris 🇫🇷
Sam is still not over her stay at Shangri-La Paris… and honestly, neither are we (mainly because we’re all still a little jealous). Once the private residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte, this former palace is now home to around 100 rooms and suites, beautifully blending rich heritage with understated luxury in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, just moments from the Eiffel Tower.

The event spaces are seriously impressive including: grand salons, high ceilings, and that effortless Parisian elegance, perfect for everything from conferences to unforgettable celebrations.
What really made it though? The team. The level of care and attention was next level. A huge thank you for such a special stay… we’ll be talking about this one for a while 🥂
MLC Connects X Together 88 Wood St
We brought the MLC Connects energy to Together 88 this month and it was such a fun one! Bringing together a brilliant mix of clients, the evening was filled with great food, even better conversations, and a gorgeous new venue.
The team at Together 88 really delivered, from gifting guests gorgeous Jo Malone goodie bags (which everyone was obsessed with), to showcasing their incredible spaces. We’re also very excited for their rooftop launching this September, complete with stunning views across the city and St Paul’s, definitely one to watch 👀
And for those all-important big moments? Their conference space boasts the largest screen in London, making it perfect for major events like the World Cup (Oh and conferences 😉). Safe to say, this venue ticks a lot of boxes… 🥂
Millie’s Adventure to The Cotswolds
Millie also escaped to the countryside this month for an Agency FAM trip at Coombe End Manor and she is obsessed, this one is very special! Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, this stunning manor house offers that perfect exclusive-use feel, becoming a home away from home. With beautiful grounds, elegant interiors, and the kind of setting that instantly makes you slow down (in the best way) ☀️
From exploring the house and spaces to getting a real feel for how the venue flows, it was such a great opportunity to experience everything it has to offer. This venue ideal for private celebrations, team retreats, and those more elevated countryside escapes.
Millie has not stopped talking about her day, from a massage and sound bath to a hair tutorial, a long lunch outside, and even a bit of poem writing. If that’s not the dream countryside agenda, we don’t know what is. A truly lovely visit with a brilliant team… this one is firmly on our radar for upcoming client events 👀
The Gorgeous New Six Senses Hotel in London
We also had the pleasure of visiting the new Six Senses London in Bayswater and it completely exceeded expectations. This wellness-led hotel feels like a true escape from the city, bringing an instant sense of calm from the moment you walk through the doors 🧘🏽♀️
From the beautifully designed interiors to the stunning indoor spaces and outdoor courtyard, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. We were especially impressed by the variety of wellbeing touchpoints throughout, something that feels more important than ever. And yes… the kombucha on tap definitely didn’t go unnoticed 🤪
With incredible spaces for everything from wellness-focused off-sites to drinks receptions and private events (including a standout private members’ club), this is a venue we’re very excited about. We can’t wait to start introducing this one to our clients!
A New London Activity Venue 👀
And finally, we wrapped up the month with a visit to another new London venue: Pool House 🎱
From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve been transported into an elegant Vegas setting, effortlessly cool, a little bit glamorous, and full of personality. It’s the kind of space that instantly sets the tone for a standout event.
With its unique layout and bold design, it’s perfect for everything from brand activations and private parties to more intimate gatherings that still want that wow factor. It was a great opportunity to explore the space, meet the team, and really get a feel for how it can be brought to life for our clients.
We already know our corporate clients are going to love this Liverpool Street venue 🥂
